Are The Door Lock The Same Universal Size?

Are the door lock the same universal size? i mean, the lock on the door where we turn the key. I would like to check if there is a universal size of Diameter that can fit every door or do i need to know the size of hole before i buy the lock?

Also, Are the hole for the door handle on door the same universal size?

If ur is those provided by HDB,,then yes. Unless u bought door from outside supplier,then maybe different. Better get a locksmith to do it for you. At first I thot very easy to fix it, but in the end I give up and ask the locksmith to do it. Locksmith about $30 for their service. Worth it lah when u see the way they do.

Its universal. When u buy, jus tell them its for main door or bedroom..

and as standard procedure they will ask u. need to provide labour to help install?

Accessories to be take note. Magnet stopper require? How many key provided.

I need to change my main lock.

Where can I go to get my lock? I want one with keys, not the electronic kind. How much am I expected to pay for a good lock?
