ladygeorgette 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Oops I just saw that you are aiming to shift in by Christmas!Haha I'm nice one ok...I've done all my tiles and laminates selection, bathroom accessories and lightings shopping way beforehand. I was pushing her real hard in October though, just in case I go and deliver early, which was what happened! All the best to yours too! Let's hope no conflict of interest! I'm looking at mid January, which I have told her when I looked her up in August. When are you looking at to complete?
angmoh 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2012 yeh, today's discussion, we hope can be done by Christmas. It's not impossible, but a bit rush. She advised a more comfortable date will be in mid of Jan.I have completed all the wet works including tilings. Now is wiring -> plaster ceiling -> carpentry

princessathene 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Hi ladygeorgette, I also prefer dark tiles in bathroom!! Is there any reason why ur id advised against it? I'm still sourcing for contractor/id....
angmoh 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Dark tiles will make ur bathroom looks much smaller, especially if the tiles are Matt finishes
myrick88 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2012 But dark tiles will be much easier to maintain right?

ladygeorgette 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2012 I chose All Best. My former house was done by them and the air-con did not give any problem for 5 years Really need a complete overhaul based on the photos. Will be camping here for more photos! ladygeorgette 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2012 Yea Princessathene, dark tiles make the bathroom dark too. I, too, compromised on greyish tiles for the other wall. Had a beige/cream bathroom in my former house and the cleaning was crazy, esp at the grout lines. So I decided to take a risk and see if dark tiles work better Yep. So to compromise, I choose something in between... Hehe grey color tiles
