Buying A Repurchase Flat

hi everyone..a newbie here n would like to check with u guys over some matter..

recently my hubby n i booked a repurchase flat under hdb's sales of balance,,,we would be gg for viewing wif e hdb officer.

does any one know if we r entitled to check for defects e.g leakage of pipes or cracks etc on that day n report to hdb for repair etc. Although ours is consider application to buy new flat...bt the house has been renovated by previous owners( bt hacked away everything except tiles...n install new toilet bowls)i dont expect e condition to be brand new, just checking out what r the things we can look for hdb to settle n after renovation will hdb settle the haulage etc? thanks!

Hi, my current 5rm unit was repurchased unit from sales of balance flats 5 years ago. After first appointment, we requested to view our unit after selected the unit. The town council officer will be there with you to view the flat. You can look for any defects ( flooring, windows, water leakage etc) and request them to change.Hope this helps.

I just bought a repurchase flat from SOB also.. is there any checklist that we can have to know what to look out for?

Can we request them to hack the floor tiles for us?
