Nexer 1 Report post Posted January 16, 2013 Rice Fields has it. But in slightly bigger dimensions than the usual subway tile.Hi Summer,U mean rice fields has the 3d (surface not flat) subway tiles?Do you have their contact?
summersann 6 Report post Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Hi Summer,U mean rice fields has the 3d (surface not flat) subway tiles?Do you have their contact?Yup, the surface is not completely flat because the tile is slightly raised in the middle, with bevelled edges. Looks something like this - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OtqZCLV3LCU/Tf5mUeHwDvI/AAAAAAAAA4w/eCpK4Q22gR0/s1600/IMG_3522.JPG (that's not a picture of the tiles I'm using, but it looks quite similar). The only thing is, its dimensions are larger than your usual subway tile. You can take a look at the website - http://www.rice-fields.com/nostalgic.html The tile is called Pun White (at least I think so because it's the only subway tile Rice seems to have on the website). I don't have any contact though. My ID found the tile and recommended it to me because it was on sale in Rice end of last year. summersann 6 Report post Posted January 17, 2013 Unfortunately the tile is too big to be my kitchen backsplash...and they dont have the smaller size tile. Thanks anyway! No worries! We're using it as our kitchen backsplash though. The savings were too good to resist (the usual subway tile we were going to use was $16/tile while this tile, because we got in on sale, was $6/tile).All the best with your renovation!
