Nexer 1 Report post Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) Issue no 2!!When i told my contractor im buying induction hob, he did not warn me about the 30amp limit for my place!!Luckily the saleman warn me about it and advise me to look for 15amp and below 2-zone induction hob. My place will be installing a system 3 inverter aircon (9btu x2, 18btu x2), joven 25l storage heater and other home appliances. Will the induction hob cause a power trip? Will the induction hob cause a power trip?if your induction is those more than 15amp, then yes, it will trip your whole house. that is why i choose not to use storage heater.... its either electric stove with aircon without storage heater, or else will be storage heater with aircon and gas stove. do you have hood? if yes, then even worse..... Nexer 1 Report post Posted November 27, 2012 Day 8Issue 3&4: apparently HDB have a new ruling that we cant level the living room and kitchen flooring anymore. My ID suggested either do a gentle slope or make do with the drop from living room to kitchen. My concern is that the tiles will no longer be continueous and more grout lines at this area...And also, if i want to have a drop in the bathroom for shower area, the mbr and bathroom dry area flooring will have to be made thicker. This means that my mbr and bathroom ceiling height will be lesser and i dont want that to happen...Headache headache...Anyway, my bathroom and toilet wall tiles are up. Will be tiling the bottom half of the wall only. The top half of the wall will be painted.Rooms' door frames are up too. Laying of floor tiles will be done tmr. Nexer 1 Report post Posted November 27, 2012 Can anyone tell me if my house has 30amp or 40amp?I understand older hdb flats only have 30amp, while those newer and underwent upgrade programme will have 40amp.This will have an impact on my decision of whether to install an 15amp induction hob.
