prinks 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2012 Urgently need your help and advice. I purchased a resale flat and am in the middle of Reno now. In the kitchen, one side the cabinets were ok, and the other side quite bad. So I thought will do only the side which was a bit damaged. Initially, my contractor said that he will try to create new cabinets with laminates which match closely. But now, he is giving me laminate options which just don't seem to match the existing beech-wood tone! What can I do? Are there any shops I can visit to check on the range available and try to match myself? Any other suggestions? Really worried that my kitchen will look strange with two very different laminates. Pls help!

Pls help!Very difficult to find matching laminate as the laminate on the old cabinet maybe faded with years of using. Better to hack all and rebuild as new than to have your wife hate you for being a cheap.
