if anyone want to buy lights,please don't go ion lightings pte ltd at changi rd. they don't do as what they promised and service bad.

first time me and my husband went to this shop during may 2012,coz we found their leaflet in our new hm. my husband is attracted to 1 of the lights that show on the leaflet so we went down to the shop to see. at first their service is gd,the first salesman explain clearly which rm or area is best to use which type of lights,etc.. then there's 1 crystal light,salesman say it come with controller for free when he serve us,they will deliver and he say if we buy more they will help to do installation of the lights coz they worried tat the outsiders don't handle with care.. so we place order a few lights frm them and pay a bit of desposit first then we walk around other places to see whether there's other lights design. then on the same day my husband receive call frm the salesman around evening time, he say we need to pay for the crystal light's controller for $30.. my husband sound unhappy so salesman say he will try to give discount for tat,so my husband is okay with it.

we walked around other places for lights but can't find tat we like so we went back to this shop again. different salesman serve us, me and my husband did ask whether they help us do installation of the lights(we place order 12 lights altogether around $1000 plus) before my husband pay 2nd time deposit.. the salesman say yes.. so my husband pay the deposit.. naturally my husband never think of hiring anyone to do the installation..coz our hm is done by contractor,hav to pay additional charge for electrician.

me and my husband are moving in our new hm next mth so my husband call them to deliver and do the installation this coming fri or sat. to our surprise the first salesman say they can only deliver,they don't provide installation to all customers at all and our lights are discounted.. me and my husband are shocked,how come the salesman change their words as he like. up to no choice, we have to tolerate coz on their invoice didn't indicate they provide installation.. verbal aggreement is not counted! then we have to pay additional charge for electrician.

so hope eveyone here will be beware!

Should have got everything written down black n white to prevent any dispute ltr on..

Try talking to someone(of higher post)in the shop to see whether can give n take anot?

If not then take it a lesson,you have learnt something out of this.

OMG that horrible!! the communication skills of the lighting shop sucks

but its better to have them in black and white.

Actually installation is not very ex.

they could just add it into the selling price which we couldn't even notice.

i remembered mine installation was something like:

$40 for transport

$10 per lamp

$40 for suspended pendant lamps.

I remembered this because the light shop also told me about the charges after i paid for all the items as well

so i assume the light shop are seller and the installers are sub out.

But i bought 2 lamps from ikea and 1 from Like lights [super difficult to install, took them 1hr] and the installer charges me the same rate.

i round up a ask the installer to keep the change.

woah.. terrible ppl, there is always ppl out there that is trying their best to cheat us of this and that...

Lesson learnt, next time all in black and white.. Don't let them have chance to go against their own words.

this is the lamp im refering to.

Their product is ok i guess. The Quality is better than others i have seen. The lamp look good in closer inspection. Some lamps look good from far but upon close inspection there materials are not that good. for the lamp i got, they use fabric wrap wires instead of those rubber one. so it does look more classy.
