How Often Do You Repaint Your Homes?

Hi guys!

I was wondering what was the norm when it comes to repainting your home. Once every 5 years?

And do you usually repaint because you want a refreshing change (like me) or because the paint needs to be touched up/peeling? Or only during CNY/Hari Raya?
