can see the conceal wiring took some difficulties to be done.... that is the good thing about private properties. can hack "longkang" for wires... hdb cannot do that... either conceal by partition or else will have to see casing... :(

nice balcony tiles.... show the pic when its all done!

Thanks! longkang is really a hard work..the moment when they start to cut & notch the longkang..i ran out of the house cuz it was really dusty & smoky. Have to salute the bangala...haha!

Yes i really love the balcony tiles..definitely will share more pics with u guys!..stay tuned.. :yamseng:

So how messy can cables be? hehe..but good to know most of my areas are now cabled with new sets of wirings & lighting points.

img4104bm.jpg

This is the art work of concealing a double socket! So they do really hack..

img4103b.jpg

Part of concealing the wall powerpoints. When i was there, they were cutting out the seams & trying to conceal all the wires cables into this small longkang..interesting but its quite a tedious process

img4101ao.jpgMy kid's room with all the lighting points

Bumpzz..here again. Updating & sharing some pics from the continuation of after hacked results & starting of eletrical works & also wet works. Called up ID and asked him to place some coins at kitchen before he cement the whole floor..fengshui says its good :sport-smiley-003:

Hi , Did your ID Charge you extra for concealing the cables?

Hi thunderbird, sorry for the late reply. Wasnt in town for the past 2 days. Oh ya i think the eletrician did charge me for those concealing works. As according to my ID, charges per point of socket with & without is different. But all in all i was given a lump sum for the whole eletrical works. Hope this helps..if u need any more info do let me know. cheers :yamseng:

He is more of trying to get a better finishing product & finally after 2 hours stucked there during lunch time...i was convinced by his theory & design. haha..

Long weekend, made a trip to vietnam trying to getaway from our singaporean stressful life..hehe. Meanwhile secondary mission is to go there to source for some good work of art pieces. In the end, results was nothing as most of them are in USD and they are out to slaughter tourists throat.

Well thru out the long weekends & past week. Met up with Carpenter & went thru all measurements & detailed compartmental design for all my built in carpentry works. Tired & worn out after 4 hrs of talking/ choosing/ deciding/ debating & thinking...was really exhausted. Thought it will be easy as ID is around, but we were wrong ..infact ID gave us so much different ideas that both of us was confused :o ..spoilt for choices. ;)

After discussing with his carpenter 4hrs non stopped...we gave up and decided to heed ID ideas & proposal. Choices of colors according to fengshui & the rest i let him play around with. So far his ideas & service is really quite up to standard which we were very satisfied. Never fail to reply us promptly even late i msg/ whatapps him after working hours, that gives us a good sign that he is serious on his business. Good service! :good:

Here are some pics after wet works/false ceiling works are done..rubbish cleared & changing of new floor protection papers! :good: :good: :good:
