Finally, its time for me to give back a blog for some of the nicest ppl around here after having a long wait for my unit to start its ball rolling! haha..thanks to forumers (u know who u r) who gave gd contacts & info about our local IDs & contractors info! Its been really hard to find a ID nowadays. Thought that marriage was hard to coordinate but i was totally wronged..till me & my wife was sorting out the best person to work with us on our new resale apartment. Without this forum feeding valuable info, seriously i doubt me & my wife can really handle it..haha! Thanks again!

Oh well lets start it with my kick off on visting severals IDs firms & even contractors firms. Been to sg expo furniture & ID fair, been marching along streets of balestier & meeting up different IDs. hand in hand...it took us 3months to decide, is that a joke? no it is not...I should agree with the competitive market nowadays, so many gd solid showrooms, so many gd designs from different IDs, attractive packages & etc...

I was forced to narrowed down from 6 IDs to the last ID. I shall not name the company nor the person involved till i finally get things done and i shall share more about it.

1st. lets call him specky guy, haa no offence i hope. Hes from an ID firm at balestier. Like his company's profile, but probably hes quite new.

2nd. (a senior designer) from my property agent's contact. I don have gd vibes on him. Maybe im just too jugdemental on the overall. sorry but hope u guys understand. Sometimes from the 1st look...u just don feel much on working on.

3rd. A nice lady who gives gd ideas, down side her price is like :help: ...haha. Also from a showroom at balestier

4th. Worse than some contractors. i shall not name, service is lousy, arrogant & keep insisting that we must pay him on a apoointment fee assuring us that the 3Ds are the way to start off. ! 1st meeting, we decided to strike him out.

5th. late twenties, guess he's one of the more creative ID we have approached so far. Very interesting layout he proposed but end of the day we can just drool over his layout, as we are quite fixed on our fengshui layout. haha...oh well.

6th. Last one, he is actually a reccomendation from 1 of my sec sch mates who did his place last year. Good reviews on him from my fren.

I shall stop here, for u to guess who i award my project to! Make a guess...! i will be back to post more pics & results.. lol.

Hi here is the look at on the proposed layout! fengshui included...sighh

Well, after much dings & dongs with my fengshui master & ID proposal..finally me & my wife decided on this layout given by my ID & also approved by my fengshui master. Not much on the living & dining just that i intend to have my altar infront of my main foyer area..which was told that altar must either face main door or balcony. Well, i do have a very big altar thus ID suggested a nice feature wall along my whole foyer wall to blend in with my super BIG altar which gonna sit just facing my main door..! hehe..

I plan to to do some invisible grills...anyone have gd/bad experience on it ? can share ?

I must say that the kitchen condition was quite good, but due to my Hob location, i was advised to have it on the other opposite side of the kitchen...

Back! This time round after confirming my ID contract & renovation items, my ID has finally produce his work on my new home. 3D pictures & sketch for me & my wife to visual. Or i can comment is we were really :yamseng: that not too long after paying him my 1st deposit confirmation i do get to see his hard work on my home! Afterall there are of course some minor changes, but overall both of us are quite :D with his design & plannings. For now i will give him a thumbs up on his 1st stage of perspective for transforming my fengshui restricted place to something which me & my wife really like it alot..

Part 2 of the magical Interior software results..infact, i was shocked not more on the design but more towards the Interior software & i was like "OMG, this is a very gd software" haha!

Foyer area (cant really tell what is the black wall like, but on the samples that my ID showed us, its actually some wall effects with shiny crystal bits..thus ID promised us a bling bling foyer, haha..my wife was like :dribble:

Agreed, the condition of house seem in tip top. And u have nice view.

Yes ..LOL indeed we ve got a nice view. But downside its only for a short while. I can only enjoy for the 1st 2 years, new high rise condos are coming up soon..and beside my block they gonna have 1 which owns about 40storeys!!
