The mini mosaic one that I like is not available here so I'm considering to ship it with my other purchases as well - additional USD8 for it so my total shipment cost is about 35% of my total purchase price.Roughly, the worktop will cost about SGD49 vs Tangs selling it around SGD59... Ok, this is what I'm planning to buy:Joseph Joseph ELGB0100CB Elevate 6-Piece Heat-Resistant Utensil SetJoseph Joseph 12 by 16-Inch Worktop Saver with Mini Mosaic DesignOXO Good Grips Silicone Drying Mat Edited January 1, 2013 by dragonnite

MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted January 1, 2013 Have moved almost all the stuffs to new house. Unpacked all already, now only waiting for the glass works then officially completed. My only drive now is to receive my loots from Amazon, and most importantly stop my one-click button.
sherting 5 Report post Posted January 1, 2013 Among quartz, granite and caesarstone, which one is most expensive?
MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Among quartz, granite and caesarstone, which one is most expensive?Caesarstone is quartz, among quartz there are a few reputable brands like Caesartsone, Silestone, iquartz etc. They have more colors compare to granite. I don't know the price for granite because never thought of using it, but I think granite is still stronger.
bleucheeze 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 To add on what MrsLoo shared, granite is cheaper compared to quartz. Caesarstone and Silestone are more renowned brands whereas Iquartz is from Malaysia (if i remember correctly), so cheaper compared to the former two brands. In terms of strength, i think quartz is the strongest. For these materials, there will usually be joining lines on the countertop. If you prefer a seamless look, can consider solid surface instead. Got reputable brands like Samsung and LG. HTH
