MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted December 26, 2012 They may combine shipment. But you still have to pay the full 2nd shipment cost.U can put those u like in the wish list first. Did u go and see how the stuff look like locally? Or u just see in Amazon, like it and buy? So far, I only seen Simple Human products at Home Fix and Joseph Joseph, the rest no. Just bought based on 'Trust' with Amazon. Hopefully, they won't disappoint me, then I will buy more next time. Now, I'm also looking for Artistic clock for my plain wall online. Some more, the picture cannot be human, plants, building etc, this is a requirement from hubby. And I'm looking for vibrant colors to stand out since my living quite 'pale looking'. MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) Was arguing with hubby regarding the power socket for the fridge. Can anyone enlighten me, where is your socket placed? Above the fridge, center or bottom. Ours is somewhere center but hubby want to shift it up above the fridge because partly due to space constraint. Socket + plug will be around 7cm and fridge need at least 5cm for ventilation, thus to me it is not worth the effort to change the position and make 2 holes to the tiles while we only save 4cm. Then now hubby said if plug near the fridge will catch fire easily but ours not hidden, the fridge is stand alone and not in the cabinet, I thought the ventilation will be there already? Till now still no news... :furious:Theres a work around to it.Every new BTO has a BT/IP point unless contractor conceal it.This is to provision for telephone connection. All phone connection in rooms runs parallel to it.You can convert it to LAN points. ..shorter surface trunking..reroute open net connection to the nearest LAN or phone points as i read thru ur blog u installed LAN points, hope its in strategic spot. MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 Latest progress. My Caesarstone has arrived!!! Was installed on Friday, the Caesarstone workers damned skillful, no words to describe and most important, I love the top very very much. The top is very heavy loh and yet only 2 guys can carry it, really hard work for them.
MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Finally!!! Initially, this top was too over whelming that Caesarstone out of stock, luckily they fulfill my order first and 'steal' stock from other project. I think kitchen is my favorite in the entire house. Hahaha.FinalBlanco Sink and Tap Edited January 21, 2013 by MrsLoo
MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) SamSung Delivery on Saturday.....This is a difficult task for the delivery guys. Our doors too small, hahaha expected and luckily I read reno talk frequently and knew that the fridge door need to be removed in order to move in. So, told the worker just remove the doors and carry this 100kg monster in. And because my house got 3 flight of stairs so it was more challenging for them. MrsLoo 1 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 Ok, remember that time I was complaining about hubby wanted to shift the power socket up, luckily the fridge fit nicely and I insisted no need to shift. Wanted to take the fridge alone but my boy insisted to pose with it.
