Questions 1. purpose of 3 moving glass panels is so that I can do cleaning better, as if I have a fixed panel, I might not be able to clean the gap between the glass and the kitchen cabinet. Correct ?

Depends on how close ur cabinets to the glass panel. If back to back, it'll be good to hv movable panels.

Questions 2. How many cm to move in? Can anybody advice, so that I have space for a living room and dinning table.

Determine first wat kinda dining setup u wan. Frm there, u'll be able to work out the dimensions of the table and space allowance needed for the chairs.

2. Knock down store room wall to create a bigger master bedroom, then deal off existing entrance to.both room. Move the doors to face the living room.

Question 1. Both door to be side by side ok?

Shld be ok as long as u hv enough allowance for the two door frames.

3. Knock down existing entrance to master toilet, and extend out.

Question 1. Can only extend 60cm right?

Yes, max is 60cm. Note: only dry area is permitted to be extended out.

Question 2. Necessary to extend, aim is to have a proper toilet, box up pipe, WC, then shower then a nice vanity with illume mirror plus cabinet. Or after extension will still.be too small?

Will be able to free up the space abit if ur vanity and sink are shifted out to the extended area. How many family members u hv? If only husband & wife, might wanna consider only shower area in mbr toilet. Hack off the wall between the two toilets and hv juz 1 holy bowl and another vanity in the common toilet. This will free up quite alot of space.

Hi all, just got a 3NG resale in Tampines. Have got lots of information from the forum. Will like all the experts.here to give me advices and ideas, for my design.

Area planning,

1. Knock down the living room and kitchen wall to shift inwards to create dinning space. Will then install 3 moving glass panel.

Some background on the place it is a 3 storey block, and my unit is on the top floor next to the lift.

One advantage of top floor is that there is a higher ceiling. And there is less pipes in the toilet .

There are only 2 person staying, my 4 yr old son and myself.

I have a general idea of what to do, and I will share later, still trying to see how to attach the pictures faster.

2 things I totally have no idea is the running of the air con pipes and electrical wiring. And the ceiling plan. I will reuse the air con, as they are only 1 yr old, but need to do re piping. As for celling I will need to install celling fans in the living and 2 bedrooms. Will.like to install the haiku but they cost 950 now!

initially I thought I am clear what I want , but now I am seriously loss, the more I research the more loss I am!

I really need alot of help . Please help me!

The following pictures are the mood and style I want. Think they are call minimalist but I think very.difficult to achieve that as the place is really too small, and if I hack the storeroom , I need to.build more cabinets for storage so the minimalist feel is gone.

Secondly I feel if minimalist if not done properly will.end up very bland.

Propose layout. In the beginning I am bend on this layout, but after looking long enough I have my reservation again,That is why I need alot of help. Sometimes I really feel like just giving everything to id no need headache, but I have quite a number of contacts, like I will be getting kitchen cabinets and wardrobe from HOFFEN. And the parquet flooring will be from my cousin company. I have a electrician and air con man who I know for a long time as they do jobs for my workplace. So I will get them easier to communicate.

Most impt after speaking to 1 id so far I feel people in this forum are much more experience in Reno and design. And I feel I can get better ideas and advice here.

As u can see, I plan to hack the mbr toilet to extend out as I really want a nice hotel style standard bathroom . But those who extend do u think it is big enough to do a proper bathroom ?

After extending the mbr bathroom, the mbr will.be smaller so I intend to hack the store and combine into the mbr. This way the mbr not only increase in the store size also the small walkway now serving the entrance to the both bedroom and store.

But this bring another problem, if I do the above the common bedroom door will.have to face the living room, but if I place the sofa or TV just outside that area, will.it be enough, becausebecause not to forget the main door open to that wall.as well.

For the wall.in btw the living and kitchen will.be hack and move backwards. How much backwards should I.move? There are 2 ideas I have for the new wall.

1. Like alot of 3 roomers here do a full height 3 panel movable glass sliding door to open up the space .

2. Instead of the a wall, do a cabinet propose by HOFFEN with full

This is the area facing the corridor , I am thinking of doing a shoe cabinet with a tall unit and a short one like this........

Flooring wise I got 2 option,

1. Which is also most probable action. Living and kitchen with tiles like these but in off white or white cookout are these ceramic or homogenous? Actually I pain say to say I wanted tiles like what one of the expert think adidem. Have in her hse.

Then 2 bedroom with parquet like these tone.... Can this be achieve or are these laminates cause I always see parquet like darker tones.
