seems like doesnt work, i measured, about 1.5inches or 3.8cm, i dont know why that old uncle said cannot measure! mine tools can only open until 2cm.

and i tried using hand to turn. very tight. and the whole tap is moving...

so meaning, 1 need another person to hold the tap tight then can tighten?

or can i just use silicon around the tap?

headache, dont know how my tenant use the tap one.

Looks like the only way to tighten your tap is removed the water suppy line 1st

Used the extentsion box spanner u bought to tighten it but get someone to hold the tap in place.

But remem off your main suppy if u dun have cut off valve attched to your water suppy

Hmmm Vermilion,

Quite a tight space you've got there huh. What casa said is right. You have to remove the supply line carefully. Without them you can definitely reach and tighten the tap, Of cuz 1 person is not enough. Need the other to hold on to the tap. And the correct tools... using the normal spanner not say cannot but very hard. The nut spanner you've shown on the first pic will be able to do the job.

Hope you can solve the issue. Oh and try not to use the sealant. It's not gonna hold anything, it only prevents water from seeping thru.

Last but not least... Maintenance very impt! We design, reno and lastly must maintain...

Cheers,

Mike
