Old Home, New Look

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

And then it's shopping time. We bought our appliances and also furnishing. Trying to find the right place to do our curtains and wallpapers. Doing wallpapers for the whole house is no joke. We were quoted like $6000 just for wallpapers alone. :bangwall:

Anyway, here are somethings we bought:

combine2.jpg

Wood on sofa and coffee table will be sprayed black as requested and the fabric will be in some colour that I can't rmb what.

Dining table will be the one on the bottom left while the dining chair will be those on the bottom right, in mocha.

combine.jpg

55-Inch Samsung LED TV and samsung blueray player for the living room and 33-Inch Samsung LED TV for the Master Bedroom

Soundbarcombine.jpg

Yamaha Soundbar

combine3.jpg

Techno hoob and hob, Hatachi fridge, bosch oven and panasonic microwave oven

We bought 2 king size beds, a queen size bed and also a single bed as well.

It's like buying a brand new house, everything must be bought again.

Why you have another glass area after the master toilet? Basin area?

Your place looks like near to me but then seem like its not. Make me confused... Haha.....

Hi May. I saw your t-blog and roughly know where you are located at. I am currently staying at Boon Keng area too, near the mac. From the living room, I guess I will be able to see your house or your area somehow.

As for the master bedroom, yup that's the basin area.

What a unique layout for your balcony. May I know how big is your place with/without the recess area? First time I see a point block with a layout like yours. And outstanding (and unblocked) views too. Superb!

I hear that it's hard to buy the recess area nowadays, so your parents have great foresight to buy over the (huge) recess area. Congrats on your lovely new (old) home. :)

P.S. We seem to have many similarly branded appliances. :)

P.P.S Is your MBR door opening outwards? Seems like potential for the middle bedroom person to walk into the door.

From Mac, will not be able to see my block. Will be blocked by those behind KFC. Not sure where is your renovating place going to be. :)

Why don't make the whole mbr into glass wall? That would be sexier than just basin in glass wall. Hehe....

Oh, I meant that I could see it from the house that is currently under renovation. Hahaha. Whole mbr into glass wall, doubt my brother will be so daring.

Thanks. Checked with my parents, the house itself is 128, together with the recess area should be about 140 (plus/minus). From what I know most of our neighbors below bought the recess area as well.

The MBR door should be opening outwards, parents will be staying in the middle bedroom. Didn't think of such potential problem, hope they wouldn't knock into it. Hahahaha. Hope the appliances we bought are good to last. Everything's so expensive now.

I wanted too. :~ But have to consider that he might have family in the future so it's okay. It's fine with me, just have to walk a little further to the toilet. Hahahahaha. I have both bedroom 3 and the study room! (Currently the only one left studying)

Love the colours and the design of your toilet. The toilet doors are also very unique. May I know what material it is made of?

Thanks. It's called MOVI door. It's made from a combination of aluminium alloy and laminated glass.

Thanks for the info.

Wow, that's huge for a 5 room flat. Almost as big as the last batch of exec apt (144 sqm).
