hi astral, noticed that you also have a recess area in ur living hall, after ur main door. are u boxing up the area?

i had 2 such areas at my place - one **** room, the other in MBR. spent money to box them up cos' hubby thinks that it wouldnt look nice if its not flushed with wall.

Hi applepie, won't be boxing up the area, because I have a display cabinet that is more or less the same size as that recess area. I'll just put my cupboard there. Problem solved!

As for the little space beside the recess area, after putting the cupboard there, I will put a chair there so that it is easier to wear shoes. Wanna squeeze juice out of every bit of space! Haha!

Thanks Jaskel, I am enjoying every moment.

More photos today. Let's start with the kitchen.

Day and night pics

I hate inaccessible corners, so they installed this wide hinge for me.

Now on to lights!

Toilet lights. Making good use of the limitation of the boxup for the toilet pipes by installing lights into the boxup area. Boxup lights vs overhead light.

Thanks bro. Your house is across the AYE from where I am currently staying haha.

I got the lights from a shop in Balestier. It is one row of shops, and they also do bathroom accessories and curtains.

^^

We both love Rilakkuma and dolls, so I got some of the following items to decorate the house

18" x 24" poster for the wardrobe/toyroom.

Postcards to place in the cabinet

W0649-1.jpg

Rilakkuma clock. His backside swings as the clock tick tocks!

I also got a Kartell chair. This is just to console myself that I have a atas piece of furniture at home wahahaha... I got the clear one

Thank you. I know the shop name but I can't post it here becauseit gets censored. I think it cost about $100? Not sure because I bought everything at one go and they charged a lump sum.
