Wow, indeed ex.

We thought for a very long time. But they were really very authentic. Had over 20 different running tones so that it doesn't look so repetitive. Surface also feels like wood. I can show you if you want to. Just drop by my place.

Thank you very much. But I think the photo doesn't do it justice. It looks absolutely stunning in the flesh. Lol. Though this one lagi more expensive $21 per sheet of 300x300.

Wait till it's your turn. Choosing tiles is the most exciting part of the reno process for me. Hahahaa

And dun be pressurised into choosing your tiles quickly by the contractor. We took almost 4 weeks before we confirmed all our tiles. And we got from 3 different shops.

Minerat,

, which three tile shops did you patronise? So far I have visited hapfary, builders shop and soon bee huat.

I have picked out some Italian tiles samples for the front and back yard. The rest of the tiles to be laid on toilets floor and wall from china. Are there any difference in the tiles based on country for origin? We are going for a contemporary style, simple, bright and airy. :D

I went to a few shops but in the end confirmed my tiles from Lian Siang Heng, Hafary and Hup Kiong. You can actually check out the stretch along balastier where the whole row of shops all selling tiles.

As for China tiles, i did notice that they chip off quite easily.

Day 19 (25 Aug 2012)

A very quiet day today. Only 2 tilers were working today when we came by. So far, tiling for all toilets and the yard room have already completed. Living, and dining were also completed including the skirtings. They should finish dry kitchen today. Next week they should be working on the yard and sink stove.

I wonder how many cigarette butts lie buried beneath my flooring though

Whirlwind of shopping for beds and mattresses today. First to courts where we bought 2 Maxcoil mattresses with bed frames. One for my brother-in-law, and one for my son. At $999 for queen mattress with bed frame and $1499 with storage bed frame, we felt it's quite value for money. Then it's off to Robinson where we bought a Sealy King for myself, including the platform bed frame. :sport-smiley-004:
