My Humble Home.....

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Water resistant will be the correct word to use la. Most laminated flooring consists of 4 layers. The top most layer is called the wear layer. This layer yes, is water proof and wear resistant. The reason why I say water resistant is a better word to use is because the joint area between the laminated flooring is not water proof. If there is water spillage on the joint area, the water will seep through into the laminate if the spillage is not wiped off immediately:)

There is also moisture in the air as well, that is why the vapor barrier is a must to make the laminated flooring last longer. So installation must be done the proper way.

Hahaz :thumbs up:

Cheers :yamseng: ,

Mike

.... thats why i am still contemplating between.... the laminate wood floor- water resistant vs the Laminate vinyl floor water proof ....

Should The glass dividing door between Hall and Kitchen be clear glass or frosted??

Maybe u can make a design on your glass then get the glass maker sandblast the pattern or design out for you

Eg; you and your wife name :sport-smiley-004:

I prefer clear glass, makes the interior more spacious. Unless you want privacy.

Agree too.... only worry is scare guest might walk into the glass door.... :jawdrop:

add some frosted line will help??? or first the top part??

The glass door is too prevent the aircon leaking into kitchen... so i guess most of the time it will be open

Heyz,

No worries about the clear glass panel. It is actually quite obvious and there is a mini handle too for you to slide but still making a pattern definitely to make it more prominent. cost more lo. Sandblast quite expensive... or try frosted glass film???

And you mean most of the time the kitchen will be 'closed' right? to prevent aircon leakage from living?

Just ask your ID/contractor acid wash whole house ba. Should be able to remove the mould and stains.

Cheers,

Mike
