star70 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 Kitchen is the woman's territory so i hope to spend more effort there..hee.Different themes in mind.1. Classic look - Black and white laminates, white backsplash, white top, grey floor tiles2. Raw look - Bare no tiles, Black and white laminates, ss backsplash, white top3. Warm feeling - Wooden tiles, white and wooden grains laminates, white backsplashAlso a chalk wall is a feature in the kitchen - i do have pp highlighting that chalk wall should not be in kitchen but i think it should be ok, just dun write during cooking

Instead of bare no tiles (which I think isn't practical) use dark grey tiles instead?? I really like stainless steel kitchens.... Look very pro!

Look very pro!any idea of non-practically for using cement floors in kitchen? i see my auntie house in MY whole house cement floor, looks ok, but of cos hers not a design purpose, so it was not really very smooth surface (some rough patches in the corners).
