Tilting door involves a lot of work, hacking is unavoidable, it will damage your flooring and wall holding the door frame when taking down the old door and door frame.

Then lay new floor tile(try to find closest matching tile), re-construct door frame, install new door, i think must be fire grade.

Yup, a friend did one, heard appx few hundred. Don't know which he used, forum got so many contractors, try to get some quotes

Part of the main door frame is embedded into the concrete floor, to tilt the main door will cost you a bomb, new door frame would not be as solid as the original and must get HDB approval.

Yes, i did before 28 degree for fire rated main door... cost abt $2388 included box up and plaster by the side of main door...

One degree tilting already very 'jialat'.

Perhaps residential door design should follow that of air-bridge's, can tilt at any angle till you 'huat huat huat' or 'can't recognise own home'?
