Michele 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 Hi all, Someone came to my home to measure kitchen cabinet. He counted the corner of the L-shape 2 times. Is it the correct way? I think the overlapped should be deducted. The overlapped is 2 feet - cost = $120 x (2ft (bottom) + 2 ft (top)) + $120 (granite) x 2 = $720 for the overlapped part !Please adviseThanks,Michele
MdmNeo 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 if you do the joint at 45 degrees to the wall, then it will be calculated wall to wall countif normal straight line join, they should deduct 2 feet...

I didn't ask for 45-degree joint, so he should quoted me the cheaper one!
