:curse: :curse: :curse: :curse: :curse: :curse: :curse: just now went up to my house and found that the DLP contractor rectified all my top hung windows defect in a method that it is very unacceptable. Furious! going to take some photos tmr. If the BO and DLP contractor cannot solve this problem, I going to take it to higher level.

Reported that the top hung window very difficult to close. Some even unable to close. This is what they did to solve the problem:

Their method had caused the windows to have gaps around and cannot close fully. potential water seepages.

Hi YokeChye

I am a fellow Strathmore Greennie! :)

I just received my keys last week, and I realised that there were NUMEROUS defects too! Even the mosaic tiles in the bathroom are cracked! Similar to yours, my top windows are also having the similar problem. Thanks so much for sharing, I am going to pre-emp their poor quality control, and will take leave to be personally there when the contractors come to rectify the problems! Has HDB resolved the problem for you yet?

better list all the defects and tell them to call you when the contractor goes to your house.

HDB haven't resolve the problem with my window yet. still waiting for an answer. I think it had became a big big case in HDB :notti:

Shall see what they are going to do.

haha we have paid at least half a million dollars for the flat, and since HDB prides itself to provide "quality standards", they'd better make sure that they really live up to their self-proclaimed name! My wife and I are really very upset by the horrible quality of our flat. Even our front door is of a totally different color tone than others, and the bathroom mosaic tiles are cracked! And the toilet bowl interior are stained with unidentified brown stains. These are just the tip of the iceberg!

We are staying at 61B, 4-room, got it from the recent SOBF exercise last year, how about you?
