Hi guys n gals,

Below is the electrical quotes by the maincon... Can someone advise me if this is a high quote? $150 for 1 LAN pt & $240 for Hob & Hood pt seem like a lot...

Electrical

LAN point - 5 $750.00

13 Amp power socket (single) - 5 $225.00

13 Amp power socket (double) - 3 $255.00

Lighting/fan point - 2 $160.00

Installation of Light - 10 $100.00

Installation of Fan with Light - 5 $250.00

Installation of Wall Fan - 1 $50.00

Hob & Hood point - 1 $240.00

Replacement of old switch - 15 $375.00

Re-position power point - 2 $60.00

Re-position existing switch - 3 $120.00

Re-position SCV point - 1 $55.00

Sub-total $2,640.00

This is what i paid... bear in mind this is friend-friend price so mark up by main con is not a lot.

Cat6 LAN point - 4 @ $100 each

13 Amp power socket (double) - 20 @ $60 each

Lighting point inclusive of switch - 14 @ $48 each

Installation of Light - 9 @ $8 each

15 Amp power socket (for aircon) - 1 @ $120

Hood point with switch - 1 @ $80

Telephone point - 2 @ $30 each

SCV point - 3 @ $100 each

Supply and install new 10A (for lighting) and 20A (for power socket) ELCB to DB - lump sum of $420

Whole house new wiring

Total $3,324.00

Hi

I think it's reasonably priced becox the electrician who did the most recent wiring for my place is more expensive by $10-20 for each of your items.

hi, pm me if u need an direct electrician...your price is quite expensive...the direct electrician who do my house wiring have a good workmanship and most important is price is reasonable.your quotation really too high~

Can PM your contact as mine quoted 3 room for 3.5k which I think is steep.
