I took up a reno package from a "reputable" reno firm.

The package includes homogenous tiles.

Hoping to get my facts right before i starts pointing finger.

Laying of homogenous tiles i assume that sand is required? And who is supposed to provide the sand? The ID or some random person or who? Reason for saying is because the sand is provided by the haulage guy instead of my ID thru a fee. Im a newbie here can any old bird or ID/Contractor advise and explain to me?

You were told to pay extra for the sand?

Everything should be included in the quotation.

It would be ridiculous if they are itemised individually.

What's next?

Carpentry laminates not included?

Painting pay extra for turpentine?

sand should be by the haulage guy

u pay money to the haulage guy, he will provide u with the sand....

My ID never charge me for the sand but his workers took the sand from the haulage guy...

Everything should follow the reno quote you signed, unless otherwise stated separately; even for standard renovation package, there should be stated if haulage is included or excluded, if reno quote did not stated if haulage is excluded, then it should be included. The laying of wall and floor tiles should include the 2 types of sand (水沙&江沙), the cement and plaster compound for grout.
