taichipanda 3 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 Looking for an induction hob with 3 burning zones. Any recommendation for a reliable brand? How's Brandt? If you are staying in HDB flat, cannot use 3 zones as it require 30A plug, will trip the DB. You should look for 2 zones which use 15A plug (same power consumption as aircon). linlee 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 Thanks for that advice. I'm getting the induction hob for a landed property. Have shortlisted two brands: Brandt and Ariston. Wonder which is better: more reliable? Any feedback?

Installation can always be done but you will most likely not be able to use all 3 zones at one go as the AMPs if you are living in a HDB estate might not be sufficient. For best and accurate info, do consult your estate manager to give you an updated asseessment of the AMPs you have in your estate.Hope this help in clraifying.Critic.
