ongcs 3 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 How is your findings on your system calibration?
skong121176 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Sounds much better after calibration of the system...but I think still lacks the mid bass punch in my HT setup...any idea how to fix that? What's the crossover setting in your setup?Btw, why are you selling your XPA-3? Is it sold? Share your A-B comparison of your new toys leh
ongcs 3 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Hmm...if you changed to Large, the mid bass should be managed by your RX6. Got, can fix, buy better subwoofer, buy 2, for sure got what you want to achieve. All set to large. I sold XPA-3 because I don't really need it, not much different exactly. Or rather, I will spend more on a better power amp for my center if needed. What new toys? skong121176 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Cannot la! buy 2 subwoofer sure not get approval from my CFO You currently set to Large? Maybe a monoblock for your center? New toys referring to your Teac 501 How's the performance thus far comparing to M-Dac?
ongcs 3 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Yes, I set all to large. Yup, monoblock for center but no hurry. Oh, teac dac, yet to really try out vs M-dac. No time to setup and used it to run in.
skong121176 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Wow all the LARGE!?! you mean LCR, SR & SL? Doesn't it cause more strain to your speakers? What's the crossover for your sub then?Looking forward to your teac dac review
ongcs 3 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Dont think will cause any strain to my speakers, only center & rear managed by AVR. LR managed by Cayin. No worries. Crossover at AVR or at Sub?
skong121176 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 So you set all your speakers to Large after XT32 calibration? Crossover at AVR
