My new toy had arrived

My FOC accessories (2 pieces of brush & 4 pairs of HEPA filter)

F901F41B-7A89-420E-9762-6FA748C90A61-129

Charging mode, 16 hours for the 1st initial time, can't wait for it in action

BD216E9D-8544-4649-820E-4A662EE58976-129

I bought it from 3rd party parallel importer with local presence, cheaper price, on par, vs buying off at Amazon, save some $$ on GST as well. It was a group buy organised internally between Dragonnite(3 roomba 770 & 1 scooba), Devian, watcheong & I; 1 roomba 770 each. The website is http://www.autovacstore.com/ for further reading.

Over the weekend, dropped by Franc Franc @ Vivocity. Checking out any new items worth the hoot!

Found these (Magnet clips & Soap dispenser)

The clips(S$2) are in action, for coffee drinkers to refer to my nespresso capsules.

The soap dispenser(S$15), I liked this one, due to the rounded corner, blended well with my table top. For those who had similar tabletop, can consider it. Comes in 3 colours, White, Black, forgotten the last colour.

Today went to Burlington Square to check out some possible upgradable valve tubes for my Cayin A88T. It was after a causal chat with Edward from Precision Audio, he taught me how to bais my KT88 tubes, also advised me what to upgrade since the amp comprised of 3 types of valve tube.

Namely KT88 aka EH6550, 6SN7 & 6SL7, the later being the core for entire amp structure. No point upgrading the rest if 6SL7 not taken good care of. As recommended by local Xtremplace forumers, I made my way to the shop which sell all types of tubes. A quick chat with the boss, also insisted that I should upgrade 6SL7 1st which is so important of my amp structure. To upgrade all, my pocket will burn a hole for sure.

Paid $105/ea or $210/pair. It is painful but I can understand the reason behind it after my novice knowledge in them. Not me, even my Missus was speechless about it. The toning is tight, smooth, natural. At bass level, it just sound so right, eliminates some echo had been lingering at my listening spot.

The delicious tubes

The front 2 original cayin 6SL7 tubes

Definitely happy with my setup!!

Nice :dribble: ...how's the impact to the overall sound quality compared to the original tube? Worth upgrade? :dunno:

Got to hear it yourself. I cleared the remaining 2 tubes on shelf. :notti: I'm keen to change the inner 2 tubes after a positive upgrade on the front. For my KT88, they are changed by PA when I bought it.
