ongcs 3 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Spent some times to setup Cayin for 2.0 setup, I'm clearly impressed with it, found the 'missing part' that I had been lacking for months. Even my missus also asked me whether I should dumped my AVR I had to explained to her without AVR, no more movies! How I connect my Cayin for 2.0 to my Monitor Audio RX6:CDP->Cayin A88T(connected via RCA cable directly)->MA RX6Managed to test Cayin on 2.0 only, need to calibrate further for my HT setup at 5.1Moreover, i will try to setup another new toy in town tomorrow! Bought this even earlier than Cayin, in December as my X'mas gift! Recently I had collected a decent size of Hi-RES music library! It is crumble some to switch on my Bluray player/Media player to play such files as need to power up my 65" plasma tv. With this Logitech player, using either iPad/iPhone, I can play my music stored directly in my NAS. Save $$$ on electricity. Hope I will be impressed further when I setup it upon I awake. Planning to go for 2 type of connections.1) Logitech->Cayin A88T(connected via RCA cable directly)->MA RX62) Logitech->Onkyo AVR(connected via coaxial)->Cayin A88T(connected via RCA cable directly)->MA RX6Using mode 2, I will utilize the DAC in Onkyo AVR to drive my HI-RES music, I'm comparing the DAC in Onkyo AVR vs DAC in Logitech. Hopefully it will be good for the time being before I source for a decent standalone DAC!Time to sleep, Gong Xi Fa Cai to all Edited February 8, 2013 by ongcs
