ongcs 3 Report post Posted December 26, 2012 Some stuffs came before & after X'masHoneywell Air PurifierUnbox versionVornado fansUnbox themSide by sideReview on Honeywell Air Purifier3 types of fan power, being low, medium & high. Relatively, I finds low mode noisy, however, it really serves the purpose well, after 5 mins, I can breathe significant difference in term of air quality.Usually, I will on it in high mode before I'm going to sleep, say 15 mins, low mode when turn in. Got to monitor further whether it will perform to specifications, my missus has history of sinus. A good test ahead.Review on Vornada fan4 types fan power, being low, medium low, medium high, high & also an ON/OFF switch, total 5 buttons. The fan power are decent at medium low, the rest are good & powerful. Noise level will be slightly significant from medium high onwards.Good circulation, the fan can be slide easily vertically, see the later post of pictures. I liked the mirror finish, but definitely a finger print magnet device! In term of design and outlook, vs those similar series(630) on sale at Homefix, never regrets my purchase on 660. Clearly a winner in all aspects. I had personally tried 630 before, one of my friend is using it.

ongcs 3 Report post Posted December 26, 2012 Front viewBack viewSee the slide bar, it is pretty smooth, easy to slide up/downward easily, no sliding sound ie those eee sound. Holds well at intended position.Top viewThe 5 buttons, unlike the 630 series, it is using standard industrial turn mode.Side view

ongcs 3 Report post Posted December 27, 2012 Oh mine.... The buttons is nice.... :dribble: :dribble: This fan is very nice looking. Wonder why HomeFix never bring these in...For my 660 series, it should be cat under 733 series that is retailed in Homefix. At mid/high 400 range likely, that is my estimation, using amazon price as guide.Pros: Light-weighted(good for ladies), decent fan circulation power, low power cosumption(55w max). Cons: Mirror finish(need to clean regularly)The poison is strong.... SO what transformer did u get in the end? :notti: I got the 230w transformer from Challenger, as per air purifier's specification, it can consume up to 120w at high mode. Better be safe, didnt bought the low end model, which is the 100w, which I intend to buy 2 pcs of them.
