Can Change Wooden Cabinet But Maintain Vanity Top And Basin?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

In my flat, 2 cabinets under basin in toilets are rotten but the vanity top (granite) and basin are still very good. Is it possible to remove the wooden cabinet only and make a new brick cabinet but maintain the vanity top and basin? Is it cheaper than hacking all and rebuilding a new cabinet, top, basin?

Please recommend contractor if you know

Thanks,

Michele

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

U need to see how the granite top and the basin is mounted. Usually, the granite top has it's own steel frame bolted to the wall. The cabinet below is independently mounted. But if u say the cabinet is rotten, means got seepage issue. Need to resolve that before redoing the cabinets.

Carpentry stuff.. do 1 piece only.. the contractor very unwilling to do. Need to have sufficient size job then they entertain.
