Skyz07 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2012 Hi all.. Hope somebody can assist on placing of cove light and L box in the bedroom.. Usually ppl place above their bed or opposite? In front of the bed is tv and airconwas planning of cove light with downlight together. How many side is enough and make the room much brighter and nice.Currently placing a U shape both side of the bed is down light l box, center above the bed front with downlight and cove light together...Any kind soul can assist on this soon. edenstrauss 3 Report post Posted April 12, 2012 Not sure what to make out of your drawings but why don't u consider having a uniform false ceiling for your bedrooms? U can have downlights embedded inside the false flat ceiling too. and your room's ceiling wouldn't look truncated. U have to exercise caution when implementing ceiling designs for your rooms if they already look small.I am intending to install false ceiling & cove lights for my living & dining rooms but had been told that cove lights are a thing of the past as the current trend in interior designing is to have it as plain & simple as possible.The uniform false ceiling with downlights is a classical design that will never go out of fashion. best wishes!
