I am using main con & yes 14K for my carpentry work and now I 'm waiting for my 3D drawingfrom my main con & was quote fm them 30K for major overhaul(hacking,

change all toilet wall & floor tiles,kitchen wall & floor tiles,brand new staircase with glass railing,all PCW window & gills,glass roof & glass sliding door

for balconcy & kitchen,false ceiling & cove lighting for whole include kitchen & toilet.change all new rm doors,painting.

except for the living & bedroom flooring teak wood by my hubby company & rewiring cos ard 4k by my hubby cousin.urs 72K for overhaul since quite ok but must also see what you do.

We are doing a brand new staircase as well with glass railing and side led lightings with homogenous steps(with nosing for anti slips), PCW window & grilles (grilles only for corridor side - no grilles in living, mbr and balcony), white frame with glass foldable door for balcony,false ceiling with led downlights /cove lights across living room & dining area,3 rooms in level 2, pocket wall a.k.a false wall for sliding door to tv area,change all toilet wall,floor tiles with vanity,kitchen wall & floor tiles, still contemplating for a WIW in MBR,built in wardrobe for parents room and study table cum display unit in our study/entertainment room,overlay laminate for 2nd level, homogenous tiles for level 1.And the best part of course my kitchen.. lol! wanted a laminate kitchen cabinet but hubby wanted glass..so glass for kitchen..and dry kitchen area comes with ladar tall unit storage and island with a integrated sink to go with. Another integrated sink at the wet area. Marstone tabletop and glass backing. still waiting for my 3D drawing as well...

Cool... at least u made me feel better.. was thinking just laminate to save the moolahs.. but hubby was adamant with his choice. Better and easier maintenance.. can't wait for the 3D..

Officially I am going to own an EM and collection of key is Monday (sept 17th). Hope to hear more of your reno experiences as I am also looking for a reliable, professional and good carpentry ID firm to do major reno of my flat. Thanks.

Wooh.... Congrats! Queentown EM is currently 'hot' n also in the media limelight :) did u have to pay for a very high COV. too?

Aiyah, no lar it's the EA's that are in the limelight. :)

My floor is not high; just level 6th.

As for COV, I pay none because we purchase direct from HDB during the March Sales of Balance Flat ballot system.

Hehe....indeed, which is the reason why we don't mind buying this uni front. It is better than having another block closely opposite you and neighbours can see everything in your unit from the other side.

Furthermore, already saved up on COV and buying the unit in the open market which at that time, the asking price of most EM/EA in that area is about $900k.

Can't ask for too much, really.

Yes - think is a really good price. You probably already have a paper gain of over 100k now.
