Hello, sounds confusing.... Penthouse lover, u mean u signed 2 OTP? These EMs have different layouts, so which one did u buy?

In the end we bought the 2nd one cos we prefer the layout. The study is a full-fledged bedroom instead of a tiny utility. Forfeited the 1K deposit, and almost got killed by the seller agent for the first EM.

Are both corner units? Can you buy the recess area for the 1st one?

So which one are you getting?

They are both corridor units. Corner units are asking crazy prices! I've gotten the 2nd one cos although it's a corridor unit, the windows of the bedroom on the first floor does not face the corridor, so more privacy. Anyway, I'm thinking of DIYing the design ourselves and not engage an ID. Our budget of reno is 30k. Seems really tough ... but we've decided not to do the flooring and rewiring. We could also do without the false ceilings in an attempt to keep costs down. Contemplating whether to just reno 2 of the toilets since there's only two of us staying here and we can't possibly use 3 toilets at the same time.

I shd be getting my keys in end october..Yea..me doing major overhaul.. looks like there is nothing that can be salvage except for the wrought iron front gate...lol!

14K just for ur carpentry works? Are using a contractor or ID?

This is my second time renovating my love nest and hubby decided to use ID this time round.. ID of our choice quoted us about $66K and after some ammendments here and there estimated about $72K..(saw in reno blog mostly around this region.. hope mine is not too much) tho its still not finalised yet... my main focal is doing up my dream dry and wet kitchen... just my kitchen alone i was quoted close to $11K... while hubby focus on level 2...
