Looks awesome already! Always envious of EM owners with their space and stairs!

Your staircase railing looks really exciting! 3D mould for railing.... I wonder how the end product would look like?

Jia You!

Ya flip up. We hardly use the top shelves btw. Requires stool to reach so we keep seldom used items on top.

Thanks Adidaem! I guess both flip up for me will be better.

Are you using the bottom one as a dish rack? If so, a flip up may hit heads and block lights.

hmmmm... maybe you are right! I wanted to have a dish rack as a drying cum storage rack but my SO says no need :bangwall:

So if not installing dish rack, then I will just do simple left/right open door.

Thanks for the feedback!

Ok... don't forget that clutter from daily living will make your house look messy and far from the 'show flat' look. So I'm no fan of exposed drying racks unless your tableware is gorgeous, and always gorgeously stacked. But a dish rack above the sink is difficult to use unless you lower the dish rack height, or is tall.

P.S. Anyway who does the dishes/cooks? Whoever cooks more should have more say. Saves grief down the road. :)

Went p to the top floor of my block and was surprised by the view! You can even see our very own Sand pit at the very far end. But very soon, this view will be blocked the the project infront of us.

Hi jshome, is your electrician tied with your ID/contractor? If he is operating on his own, can PM me his contact?
