jshome 1 Report post Posted May 22, 2012 Ya flip up. We hardly use the top shelves btw. Requires stool to reach so we keep seldom used items on top. Thanks Adidaem! I guess both flip up for me will be better.
adidaem 6 Report post Posted May 22, 2012 Thanks Adidaem! I guess both flip up for me will be better. Are you using the bottom one as a dish rack? If so, a flip up may hit heads and block lights.

I wanted to have a dish rack as a drying cum storage rack but my SO says no need So if not installing dish rack, then I will just do simple left/right open door. Thanks for the feedback! adidaem 6 Report post Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) Ok... don't forget that clutter from daily living will make your house look messy and far from the 'show flat' look. So I'm no fan of exposed drying racks unless your tableware is gorgeous, and always gorgeously stacked. But a dish rack above the sink is difficult to use unless you lower the dish rack height, or is tall.P.S. Anyway who does the dishes/cooks? Whoever cooks more should have more say. Saves grief down the road. Edited May 22, 2012 by adidaem
