Can I Cancel The Quotation After Signed With Deposit?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

recently i just engage an ID at EXPO, and i had signed the quotation and paid $500 deposit. somehow i found out the ID has bad record over the forum, and his quotation a bit high.

decided to cancel the quotation and forfeited by deposit, can it done?

i found out at the below of quotation mentionied a signed quotation cannot be cancelled otherwise a liability of 30% renovation cost..... is that true?

That is true..because you never think properly before you engage them, after you sign with them better you don`t cancel...

it was just an rough quotation, in scribble paper, there aren't any agreement signed, example it was quoted vanity cabinet with solid surface top, but now tell me it wasn't include mirror..... it is common sense how can it price without mirror? hacking nad laying, he said the quote without HDB permit..... so many hidden cost inside.

i think i will not care, let them sue me then...... already prepare to lost the deposit.

the new contract work can easily cover up the deposit.
