Just got confirmation of 1st Appt for a 4room, 4I, 83 SQM, Tanjong Pagar Plaza, on 21st May 2012,

starting to do my research on the renovation,

hope to learn from all the people here, their experience and wisdom and also share my journey into making this place my home.

but i will be doing major reno, like hacking living room tiles, bedroom, may change to parquet flooring, toilet is newly upgraded but the color is so old fashion,

then kitchen is also quite old fashion looking, will redo as well even though it is well maintained,

Congrats!! A very good location flat indeed.... COV still a bit crazy though.

As for the shower and wc, it would depends on how many people staying there. if there are a lot, then better to keep separate. but if only 2, then you can consider to combined them.

I suppose it depends on your lifestyle. Do you have a habit of doing everything all at one go? If so, then combine lor. If not, I think separate will be better. Then 2 person can use at the same time without waiting

Yes, agree. Even though the flat i bought is also well maintained, but still need to change a lot of things just because it is old fashioned. I even plan to change the window.

Combine it. Husband and wife can do whatever 'business' concurrently. Maybe I'm a little too westernize but this is what we are going to do.

Unless you have kids then keep the toilets separate.
