Strathmore Ave House Design

Hi

Can someone help? I just got a flat at Strathmore Ave Blk 61B, anyone here staying around the same area? The orange tiles in the kitchen, toilets are very ugly. Need help on how to cover it or how to design to merge the ugly tiles into your design? Hope someone can share their kitchen and toilets design?
