Nice view from living room, but you have to bear with the noise, especially on weekends. Often many guys kick soccer on weekends, and they can be quite noisy. I like your front gate, does it come together when signing with HDB? I want to do a gate something like yours too, with the panel at the moment. I realised this afternoon, the bangalah washed the floor and anyhow spray around. My wooden front door was wet. I scared as this goes on, my wooden front door will be rotten. Need a panel to block the water.

Hi Ayazumi,

I fine with the guys kicking soccer since they only come over during the weekends.....in fact our place is quite quiet during the few times I went....glad to have them around to create some noises....

Our front gate was provided by HDB... I cannot choose.... If you are getting one on your own, wise to get a better quality wan....

My NEW gate has many wear and tear scars.....see below pics- I actually indicated this on my HDB defects report -but nothing was done.......

I guess I can still live with it so I never follow up further with HDB on this item.....

As I had not move in yet, not sure even if any cleaners are cleaning our corridor at the moment.

While I have the panel on the gate, my flooring don have a step as the design is for it to be wheel-chair friendly.

Not sure if this will cost more water to spill into my flat during corridor cleaning? Anyone have any experience to share?

First Item up: Service Yard Windows:

I requested for 3-way window so I will have at least 2/3 of the window space when all panels are push to 1 end.

Henry(my contractor) mentioned that this window will cost more than he initially quoted as he have to use tinted green glass to match the kitchen door.

No matter how I look at it, it don seem green........................................

I totally agree with u having a small kitchen coz my new home @ clementi same as your's from the floor plan and pics u showed.

I wouldn't install that bi-fold door in kitchen if given a chance I would rather have HDB install the sliding window at svc yard coz its not cheap.

So bro how much your sliding window that c/w 3tracks???

Initially the quote was "Alum.sliding window for s.balcony - 3-way" $460.

Later Henry mentioned might need to have green tinted glass + White Frame (WPC) to match the Service yard door,so was increased to $650.

But when he came, he was also not sure if ours was the green tinted glass............. He will confirm us the price after he check with the window contractor but have not got back to us yet....now that u mentioned, going to ask him tomorrow...... :notti:

Air Con is Up: :thumbs up:

Panasonic Inverter System 2:

Blower unit in MBR + Living RM

The Aircon guys from courts but their vehicle printed ALLBEST.........

At first I thought they will run the trunking from MBR to Living room using the passage way.

Trying hard to visualize how it will change the look and feel.

I had a pleasant surprise when they mentioned they can run the trunking via the 2nd Bedroom.

They spent the whole morning....finally complete around 2pm.

Overall, I feel they did a good job.

hi jery. yah still abit quiet there but more and more ppl are starting to shift already, 458 and 459 shld be collecting their keys soon.

anyway my main gate has abit of the same defects as yours, i thot of submitting in the defects list also, but looking at some of the feedbacks, they have a long pending list of defects to follow up and it takes really long for them to follow up.

i decided to let live on the main gate, cos i think as the long gate locks, thats more important. cheers
