Hi,

You can ask carpenter to make 2 plywoods to the size you want,

and just glue and clamp it to the glass.

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion! :) but the one pictured here is not stuck flat to the glass panel. there are gaps between the wood and glass so your fingers can slip behind the wood and get a better grip when you push the door open. i just can't figure out where to get the mechanism for the door push handle... :(

Hi,

The gaps between the wood and glass door can be done easily.

You mean the "push" sign thing is a mechanism? Is not something

you buy and just paste it on the wood?

Sorry i don't get what you mean by this "i just can't figure out where to get the mechanism for the door push handle..."

oh i was referring to the spacers between the two wood planks for the fingers to grip the handle. yah the push sign is just a sticker. i don't know how to attach the wood to the 'spacers' and then attach the spacers through the glass door to the other piece of wood

Hi again,

If glass spacers are use,you need to have holes drilled on the glass and

use a male to female glass spacer.

Imagine that this male and female spacers are tighten onto the glass,

use the end 'HEAD' spacer (usually provided together)and tighten it

together with the wood with the 'HEAD' sunken in and flush with the

wood.

Once its confirm everything is tighten, paste the last outer plywood (usually

thin one 3-5mm) and finish with the necessary finishing like sanding

and varnishing.(carpenter will know)

As in the picture i can't see roughly how thick the wood is and how long

the spacer is,this is what i think maybe how it was done and i could be wrong

Furthermore, the spacer plus wood cannot be too thick as it may affect the

door opening and closing at the side edges.

Another easiest way if you do not need to see any spacers but wood only, just use 2 pcs

of finished wood with top and bottom already cut in for your finger to grip and glue

it to the glass.(of course need stronger glue)

Hope you can understand what i said :D
