romeltic 1 Report post Posted June 19, 2012 Kitchen cabinet building in progress yeah yeah.Do you all think the wood for the bottom cabinet should be laminated? Cos when we touch on it..it seens to be just raw wood..But we were advise by our ID that this will be the case even after the kitchen cabinet setup is completed.Spend some time thinking whether to use black glass or frosted glass for this and in the end decide to stick with black glass as frosted glass cant really show a contrast with the white cabinets beside.Area to put my fridge still researching on which exact model to get:

romeltic 1 Report post Posted June 21, 2012 Yeah...now wondering whether it can fit a queen bed size or not...may be the partition for our master bed entrance take up quite some space too...Are you using queen bed too?Does your bed come with the bed frame? If can may know where you source for it? We saw one at furniture mall but it's a bed frame only about 1.4k, width of 2.38 m but guess have to forgo though we quite like it since may not able to fit in or else we can't open our cabinet...Now quite hectic have to source for lightings and electronics coz also worry in case our fridge may not fit in the designated space allocated...Our Id is chasing us for lightings as he may need to install the lighting hehhehe

romeltic 1 Report post Posted June 21, 2012 Do you all think the wood for the bottom cabinet should be laminated? Is it normal for bottom wood cabinet to be laminated? If its not laminated is it normal to get a powdering feel when touching on the wood? When water splashed on the wood do u think it will spoilt easily?Do u think it's easier to get termites for the wooden kitchen cabinet door?Cos when we touch on it..it seens to be just raw wood..But we were advise by our ID that this will be the case even after the kitchen cabinet setup is completed.Spend some time thinking whether to use black glass or frosted glass for this and in the end decide to stick with black glass as frosted glass cant really show a contrast with the white cabinets beside.Area to put my fridge still researching on which exact model to get:
