ID Cyrus informed that next mon, the electrician will start wiring and finally opennet can come..Make sure at least one of you is around to instruct in detail where to put what point, switch, etc....They will also ask you which switch is to turn on which light. You can do like what I did here so that it is clear to the electrician...http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd395/tjkjohn/floorplan_sockets-1.jpg
May_dream1 14 Report post Posted March 30, 2012 My hub said our area might need to wait at least half yr more then can activate..my 7mbps mobile broadband can really drive me crazy when I access off..even starhub of 10mbps also makes me crazy... so good to have fiber when it is much faster. usually if they start to install for the whole block, then within 2 months, its can be activated. and since you have been delaying your installation, i think everyone else in the block already can use. Cannot be have to wait for another 6 months loh..... but you can check once you move in.
paladin126 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2012 Thanks paladin.. I'll definitely consider this color.. How abt the ceiling ? Is it using same white ?I think contractor or ID will try to save cost and ask you to use white emulsion paint for ceiling....I tried to ask my ID to use ICI Light and space white for ceiling and I was rejected. Of course, my painting for 5 rm is only $1000, so maybe if yours is more expensive can do that.
Akitsuki 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2012 My hub said our area might need to wait at least half yr more then can activate..my 7mbps mobile broadband can really drive me crazy when I access off..you can try calling any of the ISP provider and they would gladly check for you is your home fiber ready. my ISP arrange for me Opennet and explore Home installation which i think will be faster as opennet reply is quite slow.
