Our New Home @ Whampoa

Recommended Posts

After waiting for close to half a yr since OTP...finally we'll be getting the house key by next Fri 16-Mar. This is our 2nd flat, a block away from my parent's place. ..Ever since the kid's came along, we've been treating the 1st home at Sembawang like a weekend resort ..weekdays is always spent at Whampoa for the past 7 yrs!

Finally..we made the decision last year to shift here..

It's a 5A with 131sq meter floor area.

Received the 3D design from ID last night..the 1st viewing was disaster...all the design was rejected except the std kitchen..

The 2nd draft was better..but I find the tv console n feature wall colour a bit too dark for my liking..

We like the wardrobe colour combi most..must give credit to ID who suggested the colour..hopefully it will turn out as nice as the pic.

Promised the elder boy to get him a car bed...heh

The kitchen is a headache..its almost double the size of my old place...so the cost of cabinets is so high..and we'll be using Quartz top..

Oh ya.. By the way, ur kitchen an living room linked to balcony is great! I'm hoping for my next flat to haf that or at least a bedroom beside the balcony.. I'll tear down e wall (kitchen to balcony) n put big glass door (since kitchen is so big, i'll shorten breath of kitchen.. Increase breath aka area of e balcony)! Haa.. Not sure if my language is understandable anot.. Lol.. Fell in love with this kinda layout since I saw a t blog of an EM like tt.. Haa.. Juz sharing my 'dream balcony n kitchen' with ya LOL

I can visualize what u said.. But no budget la.. N I hate the so called 'balcony' .. It's just a narrow corridor that nothing can be placed there except walking thru ... Heh
