Hi May, we have already ordered! :P

Yeah I did consider what you mentioned regarding the height. We are thinking to get a slightly higher sofa. In the current flat we are renting, the TV console is the same height as this and the sofa is lower than the sofa we are intending to get, so I hope it will solve the height problem.

i am not sure whether there are any sofa that will be that high to be suitable for such a high console. Once you put it into the house, then you can know better lah...

but its a nice piece..... something unique as tv console. hehehe... :yamseng:

Week 7 30/05/2012

This is the final week of Reno. Chemical cleaning was done on Sunday, and contractor has sent the painters to touch up the painting for the 2nd time.

Today some of our furniture will be in and the contractor will send someone to change our main gate.

In the mean time, these are some of the latest photos to share.

The pendant lamp between bedroom 2 and 3. There are 2 controls for this light in each of the room.

The master bathroom sink area.

The two hanging bulbs for the laundry area. We bought the wrong light shades!! So i think we will just leave it like that until we find a suitable one.

A bit regret to purchase this sink. The water won't flow into the drainage. Leaving small puddles of water around the sink.

That's all for the reno updates. It was an exciting but definitely not easy process. There were lots of decision to make and lots of conflict between hubby and me because of our different perspectives on aesthetic and usability issues. But in the end as long as the end product is worth it, we will forget all the trauma we went through to get there. We are now looking forward to moving into the house. :yeah:

Haha yes, how lucky I have chosen to have it top mount. Part of it also because I think top mount looks nicer for this sink. :sport-smiley-004:

Nice Console!

Where did u get this? how much? I am looking something like tt, nowadays console we see are always those short short one, which we dun like... ;)

TV console

We have been searching high and low for the ideal TV console. We are not into modern contemporary type of furniture. We want something a bit classic and most importantly - affordable. I also prefer furniture with legs. It gives a spacious feel to the room.

GSS - good time to buy stuff! :D

What sink is that? Just ignore the water puddle. It will dry up naturally.

Your kitchen looks good. Looks like your kitchen cabinet L-end looks longer than mine.
