Price difference for the wcs alot?

Btw, I checked. 1mtr width walk way from L-end is okay. I estimate it is about 3 x 300by300mm floor tiles. That means the L-end must have enough space for two door cabinet.

Em....

The MBR W.C is $300

The common room one is $320 (comes with the square basin)

I think it is a little over our budget.

Thanks Aya for the measurement.

Thank you Valerie for the tiles info.

$300 for the water closet in your master bedroom toilet is a good price. I saw some shops selling at $400. Not sure if it is the same model. :yamseng:

Week 2 26/4/12

Finally today the tiles in the MBR toilet are partially up.

We have no time to go to the site during working hours. Whenever we visit the house after work, the workers has already knocked off.

Communication will be a problem if we couldn't talk face to face. So this is how we communicate with the contractor, through drawings and photos and send to him via whatsapp.

Yeah, hate it. But just leave it there..i don't want my room to be smelly. :D

Hi rae, I'm not sure if it is the same pipe as the one in XTR's bathroom  the air pipe can be removed, but it will cause the toilet to be smelly. So better not remove it.

Hi pineapple, yes. Only the shower area is fully tiled up. The rest will be partially tiled. I am trying to achieve this kind of effect for the wall and tiles. :P

I feel that it may be too overwhelmed if i tile up to ceiling height. Anyway, this is just for the MBR, the common toilet will be fully tiled up.

Yes, don't remove the air pipe. I can't stand the smell every time I step into the MBR. The smell is so pungent, I feel like fainting, just because of a missing cap.

Valerie, I like the partial tiling. Look so european style. I like the green paint, looks so unique, and makes the subway white tiles even more significant.

Now even the pipe is not removed, the toilet stinks. I don't know what's the source of it. Maybe because of the cement and sand and the dampness.

Yah, the turquoise color looks so refreshing! :sport-smiley-004:

But my floor tile is gray leh... I don't think can match with tiffany blue or green... best is to match with a gray paint.

Gray. White. Gray

Hi valarie,

The bathroom effect looks nice. R u going to use exterior paint to withstand the moisture and humidity?

With regards to the airpipe, xtr din remove it, but reroute it to the side as it was smack right in d middle previously. But i'm not sure how it will affect the smell with the rerouting.. I'm a noob in this so not sure of the implication. I was intrigued when i saw xtr's pipe shifted to the side with a L-shape extender fixed to the top and bottom becos it make the entire toilet much bigger.

Hi Valerie, I checked on the partial wall tiles & paint for toilets, was told its not practical for our climate & hard to maintain... What does ur contractor say? If doable, it'll be something nice I can do with the subway tiles look too...:)
