After meeting 3 contractors, we are more or less quite firm with one of the contractors. Meeting contractors and explaining our requirements all over and over again is really a tiring process (although only 3). More tiring than house hunting i think :P

We are planning to view one of his projects, if everything goes well, we will confirm with him next week! :thumbs up:

In the weekend, we have gone to Hafary and LSH to see see look look. Just to get a rough idea on the tiles selection. We found that the tiles that we love are mainly Italian tiles! Have talked to the contractor and he said he is ok for us to use tiles above 3.80 for certain area. He is quite flexible in this. Happy~

Those small piece tiles are the expensive ones... Wanted to create some features in our toilet but gave up as we didn't know how to mix and match.

Yeah, Mosaics are expensive. The laying work is also expensive. In Hafary, I saw that they have some samples of tiles with matching mosaics. But I don't find the match attractive. We probably got to spend more time to select the perfect match.

Mosaics are pretty. I was tempted when visited Hafary. Our kitchen floor tiles was chosen from Hafary, because Tagures don't have the color we want. I think I saw there is a mosaic piece (stick with many mosaics together), cost about $10-12, width about 10". I think the tilers can cut this type of mosaic into half, then you can save a bit of cost, and get mosaic feature wall?

Oh! This I realised too. Marketing strategy. Hafary sales ladies are as pretty as their tiles and mosaics?
