You may want to try sealant instead of wax. I am not sure if it'll work better though since I have not tried.

Another way....you know hi-glaze? You can actually mix it in water and wash the car with it. It gives temporary shine (temporary protection)

yes should work. almost forgot about them.

thanks for the car washing tips....but i have not got the opportunity to wash my car in 2 years too.....lol. really lazy

Err...but be careful hor. Wax leaves white patches on plastic/rubber. Try small portion first.

Just some updates. We have spoken to two contractors. Both pricing are very competitive. We were thinking to save some costs by not changing the windows and not doing the ceiling works. As we want to spend on laying parquet for living + 3 bedrooms. What do you guys think? Is it worth spending on parquet? Our initial plan was to change all the bronze aluminium windows to white powder coated aluminium windows as the bronze windows make the house appear dark, especially the glass are tinted. What can we do to improve this? Really headache. It is either the window or the floor.

If the windows are in good condition, I suggest not to change the windows. You may consider using bright color paints to brighten the house, or choose light colors furnitures to improve the condition. Parquet is nice, I also like to have parquet for the whole house, but you need to do proper maintenance for the flooring. Then you need to change a lighter tone parquet so your house will not look dark.

Agree!! Initially I wanted to change the windows cos I find the house dark. Then I changed my mind and I dont think I am wrong. The house looks brighter with the balcony sliding doors removed, painted with lighter colour paint and I added downlights. The L box dont cost a lot, mine is 380. The downlights I bought from JB, not a lot as well.
