Clara Tan 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2012 (edited) Picture: Most Singaporean families have to contend with a small kitchen space. But that doesn’t mean you should have to settle for either a microwave oven or a cooking grill. This September, Turbo introduces the TMO25SS Microwave Oven With Grill so you get the best of both worlds. Sleek and stylish, this top-quality grill microwave oven is designed to perform. It does not just cater for reheating of yesterday’s dinners or making movie-night popcorns. With combi functions, cooking food well inside and crispy on the outside can be a breeze. But what truly stands out for the TMO25SS is its ability to grill-cook. Whether you have thin slices of meat, hot sandwiches and au gratin dishes, you can use this oven to whip them up. And if you’re always wondering how much time to pop your dish into the oven for, the TMO25SS takes the guesswork out of the cooking. Featuring nine Auto-Cook programmes for convenience, users simply have to choose a corresponding code and press Start/Quick Start to begin cooking. The nine modes include: Milk/Coffee, Rice, Spaghetti, Potato, Auto Reheat, Fish, Chicken, Beef/Mutton and Skewered Meat. EdensMom 8 Report post Posted July 16, 2013 We've had a microwave with grill/bake function for 6 years, and it works fine. We use the grill/bake about twice a month, to roast a chicken or bake cakes. We bought it from Mustafa, but I've seen the same things in Mega Discount Warehouse. Cost was about $300 (6 years ago), and I've seen then recently for $500. I would say they don't last as long as a traditional microwave if you use the bake function all the time, and certainly not big enough to be baking lots of muffins and biscuits etc, but they're pretty good for the occasional user.
