mihochris 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2012 Dear all RT peeps , Am about to get my 4A resales flat in pasir ris, and would like to touch-up few bits.not sure if the contractor here are keen to do our small job ?1. Hack away common room built-in wardrobe (as the whole house is overlay , will hacking away the built-in wardrobe spoil the overlay flooring?)2. hack floor and wall tiles of 2 toilet and renovate it. 3. whole house painting.4. If is within our budget after we done the toilet , we might be keen to hack the kitchen into open concept and redo the whole kitchen. Please advise. Thanks
DingDong 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2012 U may consider asking the contractors/ID quote all the hacking (1,2 & 4) as it may be cheaper to hack all one shot.separate hacking will result in 2 hacking n haulage/clearing charges? Good Luck and hope u have a smooth reno process!

TaylaB 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2012 Definitely try and get a single contractor to do it all in one shot; you could save hundreds, easily, depending on how much debris we're looking at here. I had a single company haul away about 2 rooms worth of drywall, fixtures, etc. when we expanded our kitchen. Would've been a complicated mess to do it in separate steps or with separate contractors.
