But yes it does look and feel solid still. Its a mix of Walnut laminate with grains, and walnut colored plain laminate to create a different tone. So as not to have the whole piece of "wall" looking one tone.Anyway it was left from the previous owner's ID reno. We however added in the top cabinet ontop of the sink and got our contractor to use the same kind of laminate.

BoBochacha 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2012 Just a close of of the new packaging of PHILIPS LED I bought from lightings.com. It looks cheaper than the previous model. Previously it was matt dark in color. This is just a white metal frame now. Cutting cost maybe. Nonetheless it still works great. I bought the 4W ($30) for the main door balcony entrance. Also, recently procured a clock from Takashimaya, along with some wall decoration that my wife really likes as she commented the clock being too plain. They are from the branc UMBRA. Here's the final result after some back breaking installtion position. Used Blu-Tak for the flowers so that the wall plastering won't be ruined. It does not seem to hold well to strong adhesives such as 3M.Love the clock, alas I have someone at home who is not good at reading analog time!

If you read through my entire blog you will realised i was specific in my reno works i.e. not a full ID renovation. Spent about $25K.
